This is my general Character Ref for Moe who is also my SDL char. She has become something more than just another oct fighter char. She id going to have a comic. For now I am posting this as a ref for a few OCT's that I am putting her in.

Moe belongs to me as does the ideas that are surounding her. Big thanks to C for her helpful feedback on this char.

School: Up until her 15th birthday she was home schooled by the Cat guild. Now she attends Anchor Preparatory High school
Hobbies: Even though she cant compete, Moe enjoys gymnastics and has a lot of skill. She doesn’t compete due to personal reasons. Moe also collects seashells and various fish memorabilia. She also has a nice collection of salt water fish in her room (wana see them? Then you’ll have to read her comic when I get it done he he he)
Favorite food: Fish, however she doesn’t eat it in front of her pets. Cherie pie
Least Favorite food: Pickles, Onions, chicken pot pie (her grandmother accidentally mixed poison in it once. Again read the comic to find out more.)
Guild: Cat Guild also known as the Cat Burglar Guild also known as 5th Guild
Guild Heist Rank: So far Moe has had 97 successful heists in a row with now arrest. In this guild, honor is everything. If you are arrested you rank goes right back down to 1. There are many guild members who are under 50 heists due to arrests. Moe is the youngest member to have 97 successful ranks in a row with no arrest. There are others who are at this rank, however, they are much older. (Not sure what the guild ranks means? Well you’ll just have to read the comic when I finish it to find out. I cant tell you everything now can I?)

Personality: Moe isn’t a nice person, but she’s not a jerk either. Moe is sarcastic and usually easy going. She won’t jump to answer a teachers questions, but she won’t shirk away from them either. She has a good control over her tempter until something happens to push her over the edge. A good example of this is if a bright light is shined in her eye on purpose. When she’s on a job she’s serious, but in a joking kind of way. She doesn’t like to give up and really hates it when someone tries to take her target.

Basic Skills:

Acrobatic: Moe’s skills are top notch even if she isn’t strong at hand to hand combat. She uses her skills to help her with her jobs. During the day, at school, she practices in the gym with the Gymnastic team. Even though the coach has begged her, she refuses to join any competition (due to the fact she needs to keep a low profile).

Traps: Moe has learned how to set traps from her Grandmother. Her grandmother, highly skilled in traps, has taught Moe many of her tricks. She hasn’t taught her all of them though.

Hacker: Not her strongest skill, at least not when you compare her to Jack (what who’s jack. . .well you know what you have to do if you want to find out. Yep read the comic.) Moe can get into some surveillance cameras. She hasn’t gotten to the point where she can get into private files though.

Hand to hand: Moe can fight to defend herself, she can fight but tries not to. Why? Well she bruises very easily. If she can avoid a fight then she will. Bruises can be traced to a thief.

Advanced Thief Skills:

Mid-Air-Cat: Walking a thin wire at night. Moe learned this ability from her guild. It is one of their protected techniques. Its not an easy skill to learn. It requires a clam mind and perfect balance. There are many in the guild who can not do this, and even more who have fallen from the wire.

Cat Landing: Landing on your feet after a drop is never easy. Moe, depending on the height, can repel from one point to another without a rope. This also requires practice, great timing, and listening skills. This was the hardest Skill for Moe to learn. This skill is said to be perfected when the user can land and repel with out causing themselves harm. Since Moe bruises easily she had to practice this move a lot. Because of her dedication Moe is the said to be the Cat Landing expert of the guild.

Tree Scale: Climbing without a rope or the aid of another object is not easy. Much like the cat landing skill, Tree scale requires the same amount of dedication. Moe, being highly skilled in acrobatics, learned this skill quickly and with out many incidents.

Cats Eyes: Moe will learn this skill once she has obtained 98 successful heists. This skill is needed to learn the final skill.

9 lives: If Moe can obtain her 100th heist then she can learn this skill. What it is unknown to those who are under the 100th heist rank. IT is said that there are only a few people in the guild who know this technique.

Weapons:

Wire Moe tries to avoid close combat due to the fact that she bruise easily. She uses a thin wire to fight with. She can also use this wire to set up traps and a type of alarm system. It is said that this fighting style has been passed down from generation to generation (see sdl profile for ancestral use)

Fishing Rod: Moe combines the wire with the rod to add a bit of distance to her attack. The rod can be broken down into pieces. It can also be used as a staff in fighting situations. Moe is a skilled staff user and prefers to e the rod to keep her distance. She can fight up close if she has to. . .but you don't wana get hit with that thing. Its made of a light weight hard hitting metal.

Lures These lures can be sent out to cause one of three events. For the oct fights she will have four.

Flash Lure A disposable lure that contains a small flash bomb. This can be used to cause a distraction or target away from pursuers. This lure is handy in a pinch. The down side is that if Moe happens to look at it without her special glasses she could be blinded for a period of time due to her light sensitivity. She knows how to use this though so that rarely happens.

Smoke bomb Lure This lure is what the title suggests. Another get away lure or distraction lure. This lure casts out a thick smoke that clouds the enemies view. The downside is that if it is a windy night, the smoke won’t last long. There are three levels of smoke Lures. Moe currently has the first level. She doesn’t like the other two.

Decoy Lure A lure that emit’s a recording. IT is a mp3 that can produce any sound that is needed. This comes in handy during heists and escapes.

Cat Guild Lure Moe is permitted to use this because she is next in line as leader of the Cat Guild. This lure holds many secrets. At the moment Moe only knows one. The others must be discovered through training and experience. This kill is known as Hair raising shower. Moe hates the name so she calls it Pin Rain. Using this secret should always be a last resort unless Moe is out of the way. The cat lure is cast out over enemies. It then bursts open sending spring loaded poison needles rating down on the targets. The needles are tipped with a poison that causes the target to sleep, however, they can be switched out for various poisons. Moe prefers to use the sleep poison but has used the paralysis poison to. These poisons must be loaded into the lure by removing one of the eyes. The cat lure can hold two poisons at a time. To chose the poison Moe must swing the lure just right to mix it in with the needles.

Other

Mew Mew Delivery Moe hates the name of this. This is basically the Cat guilds way of delivering messages and small goods to one anther within the city. A cat caries the message. The cats have been trained to meow in a type of Morse cold. These cats have been bread for centuries to do this. The messages are usually warnings or short addresses. Sometimes the cats will carry lures to Moe on their collars.

Cat Scat For long distant deliveries Various types of birds are used. These birds have also been trained. . .but not near the cats.

She may get other tools when her comic starts but this is it for now.
