First off let me just say a big ol hi to everyone out there reading this. I hope all of you who celebrate the fourth of July had a safe one and are enjoying the start of your weekend.

Ok now for the fun. I have been working on a few things lately and I wanted to do something different.

Prizes
Ok since this is alot like a contest I decided to include some prizes. Ok I am poor. . .I have no money to offer subscriptions so I will offer the folowing.

There will be prizes for Each character who gets into the comic.

Each person will receive one fully colored picture of their Visitor/Dreamer with the Ideya they chose. Each person will also receive a fully colored pic of their nightmaren with their stolen Ideya.

When we reach the final chapter (lets call it Rainbow Ideya for now) each participant will receive a group pic of their char, and their Nightmarens together with Reala. They will also get three bookmarks. One the Ideya of their choice, their visitor/dreamer, and their Nightmaren.

I will do what I can and will give out the prizes even thought it might take time. Please consider entering.

The Prizes will be rewarded as that chars Chapter is presented. I will give them the option.

The Project Info

I am a huge Nights Into Dreams fan and I thought it might be fun to do a few comics. Wait there's more. I don't want to do things the normal way. I want to do it in a different way. I need volunteers to guest star as Dreamers/Visitors. That's right I want you to star in the comic. I plan on doing five comics. Not five pages, five separate stories about five to ten pages in length Maybe more who knows it all depends on the story I write.

How To Section

Creating a Visitor/Dreamer

You've probably done this before, you know create a character sheet. Well it's the same as all those other times. You need to give me as much info as you can about your Visitor/Dreamer. Just a normal person for now, no magic but they can have some small bit of psychic power (that will help the story later on) For starters you will need to give the following info:

Name: Well yeah how else can your character be identified.

Age: I don't know how else to put it. Your chars age. Ok so let me just say this. In the games the visitors are young about 12 or 15. So for the sake of fandom lets keep the ages of your chars about that age. So if you have a favorite char make him or her into a kid and send them in. They can be older but become their inner child. . .isn't that nice.

Height: I do use this info sometimes for perspective reasons. If you don't want to put it in that's fine. This one is up to you.

Hair Color: Go wild if you want its your char, your dream. I just need to know in order to color the char properly.

Eye Color: Same as the hair what ever you want it to be.

Skin: Let me know so I can get it right. If your char is tan, they will be tan in the story, if their black or white then they will be black or white. You get the idea.

Reason for the Nightmare: Ok so you have to have a psychological reason for the nightmare.

Example 1: Will (age 12) from "Nights Journey of Dreams" was having nightmares because his father was called away to work someplace far away. Since Will spent so much time with his father he never really made any friends his own age. When his father left he felt very lonely and depressed. His sadness created his nightmare. Example 2: Helen (age 12)From "Nights: Journey of Dreams" felt guilty about leaving her mother behind to spend time with her friends. She buried the guilt and it manifested into her nightmare.

Example 3:Claris (age 14) from "Nights Into Dreams" Claris was a singer who lost confidence in her ability and as a result fell prey to a nightmare. The nightmare enhanced all of her faults causing her to loose a lot of her confidence. You can read more info about Claris [link] I found this fan site that has a lot of about her.

Eample 4:Elliot (Age 15) A basketball cool guy who lost the game. He feels pretty defeated and as a result has a nightmare. You can read more about Elliot [link] found this fan site that has a lot of about him.

Nightmare Realm: This should play an important part in your characters memory. Idyia create a dream world based on the Visitors/Dreamers heart. I'll use Will and another Example. Wills father used to take him to various places like the park, and to the city. Will's dreams were comprised of these places, however they were extremely enhanced by the dream world. So when he went to the park the dandelions (being a fond memory) were frikin huge!! When he was in the city level, a playground was on its outskirts (probably showing how he wants to leave childhood behind or something like that). The point is to take this fond memory and create a world.

In your realm you need to have some sort of building that will hold your captured Ideya.

Nightmaren: Oooo you thought you were safe? You thought wrong. Your nightmare creates a Nightmaren. It can look like what ever you want. The Nightmaren you create will answer to Reala. You can go as crazy as you want with this but remember to incorporate your chars psychological issue. Because you can bet your Nightmaren will use it to his/her/its advantage. To create your Nightmaren please draw a pic of them and include the following info.

Nightmaren Name:The name

Nightmaren eye color: I have a big plan for the eyes so please include this info.

Powers: What do they do? They can have up to two abilities. For example in "Nights: Journey of Dreams" there was this huge fish that would chance after nights. Or if you want you can create a Nightmaren that is similar to Nights/Reala. However if you create a Nightmaren like Nights or Reala they won't be a level one like them because there are only two level one Nightmarens.

Color Scheme: What colors doses your Nightmaren sport. Nights wears lavender, Reala wears red and black.

Dualized: Ok here is the kicker your char will Dualiz with nights . .or have a forced Dualiz with Reala. The point is that once this happens Nights or Reala will take on some of your chars look.

Ok there you have it my big project thing. Oh wait I forgot something.

Ideya

This is how I plan to narrow down the story. There are five Ideya.

Red: Courage= Your Bravery. One char will start with the Red Ideya but not everyone will. I will chose a char who has the potential to be brave but is not sure if they cab be, to start with this Ideya.

Hint to Get this: Shy but Brave will win me over. A char who does the right thing without a thought for themselves.

Green: Wisdom= Your Wisdom. One char will start with the Green Ideya. I will chose a char who has common sense but wants to go with the crowd.

Hint to Get this: A char who knows right from wrong but might want to go with the crowd on something. They may regret it though. (This isn't the same as intelligence.)

Blue: intelligence= Smarts. Your char will start with the Blue Ideya. I will chose a char who is smart but may be afraid to show it due to a certain reason.

Hint to Get this: I like conflict so a smart char who is shy about sharing their smarts due to how their peers might react might just get this.

Yellow: Hope: A char will start with the Yellow Ideya. I will chose a char who has had lost confidence in an ability they might have.

Hint to Get this: I like chars who have a skill so pick a skill and a situation that causes your chars hope to waver. Or a situation that might challenge their hope.

White: Purity= The lucky person who gets this will star in all of the comics in some way. I wont tell how though. I will just say that this person will have a connection to all of the other chars. This Ideya is special and will most likely be a char that can relate to the other chars in some way.

Hint to Get this: Something has happened to this char, something major. Your char will be there through the stories but won't really show up until the end. But it will be a big part. The person who gets this will get a note from me about what will happen to their character.

Rainbow: This will be the follow up story where all chars come together for a cause. . .I'm not telling you what it is yet because it's a big plot point.

How I chose who will participate.

This isn't really a contest but I will be giving a gift art to those who are chosen. Please don’t fret if your char isn't chosen. I have many a plan for this idea so who knows what will happen after this first group goes. If this is successful and if more people want to participate I will do another five chapters.

If you want a specific Idyea then you need to put that down when you send me your char info. If you suggest red I will consider you for red. However if you ask for red and your char seems more like the blue type I might write back and suggest that and ask you if you would mind being that. That's not a bad thing. That means I like your char and what them to be in the story.

I will set the deadline for entries for August 5th. That gives everyone plenty of time to submit their character info sheets. You don't need to draw a comic but if you think it will help me understand your characters personality by all means feel free to do so. I Love looking at other peoples comics.

I may ask a few people who I know to look at your chars in order to help me decide on who gets in.

7. Optional: A comic portraying your visitor/dreamer. (Not necessary but its fun to do. And I'd like to see them though it won't be the major consideration for my choice it might help.)
